IT SUGAR - Inside
Info + Comments (95)
Love this candy store, here is an interior image. Some technical background info - comprised of 27 images each bracketed with 5 1EV exposures or a total of 135 shots for this image. A panoramic image stitched from these 27 images that give a field of view (FOV) of approximately 160 horizontal degrees and 130 degrees vertical. Basically, an HDRI panoramic using Photomatix Pro, Autopano Pro and of course PS CS4. To see the full panoramic image click on the panos link above or go to http://www.sirius2photo.com/pano/index.html.
If you've enjoyed my photos, I would greatly appreciate your vote for the 2011 Photoblog Awards.
Amazing - I don't think I'd ever have the patience, let alone the technical skill to put together 135 images into one!

A kids paradise, fantastic wide angle
@ 2010-04-13 08:52:26
It's unreal how many images you used for this. Mind boggling actually. I love how the structures on the outside look viewing them through the glass, particularly on the left. The swirl of the ceiling shows the pattern of the store and those lights are so soft. This is really exceptional.
@ 2010-04-13 09:09:53
Remarkable project, John - and a worthy undertaking.Look at the detail! I couldn't help but note that robotic eye at the ceiling - watching the stash! Thanks for the Pano link. Fabulous!
@ 2010-04-13 09:37:53

Are you using a robotic head? We would not be very good at this, we have enough with the simple "one line pano".

Pure Candyland - one of my favorite childhood games (okay, I admit, I still play it on weekends ;-) Leave me alone in that store for an hour and I'd be on a sugar high - and dancing up on the counter with those fringy/flapper girls :-)
